From excessive police brutality against black Americans to the piling uninvestigated cases of missing indigenous women, there are numerous issues that you can channel your energy into helping. Vote for those who will listen to you, represent your beliefs, and believe in your community. Create and sign petitions aimed at your local government administration. Let them feel your passion and power as a citizen of not just the United States, but also your state, city, and county. Your vote: your voice.

To this day there is STILL inequality in voting accessibility, and we MUST address it!

The history of voting reminds us of the racial, gender, and socioeconomic inequalities that continue to restrict citizens today, even if every citizen over 18 years of age can supposedly vote on an equal field.

Voter intimidation may no longer be in the same form it took as it did in the "New South Era," but it is still very real in today's world.
